The most powerful and the only tool to achieve it, is your MIND. In Tantra there is no half-way choices, or you will control your mind, or the mind will control you.
You know New Year’s Resolution right? Each year in January we decide to change something. Let’s take a most common resolution – loosing weight. We decide to limit sweets. For a few days when our enthusiasm is still blazing, we are doing quite well. Until the day, we meet with a friend in a cafe and we see our favorite, delicious cookie. Then our mind speaks up: “just one bite won’t hurt you!” Who has control over whom? You over the mind, or mind over you?
So how to train our mind to become MASTER OF ENERGY? Answer is – MEDITATE!
MEDITATION IS EASIER THAN YOU THINK
There are thousands of definitions of meditation, more than hundred techniques. The truth is, you don’t need to seat in special, difficult position of lotus flower, hours and hours, with your hands and fingers in specific shape, chanting mantras. Meditation is an ordinary exercise for the mind. If we are able to train our muscles in the gym, we can also train our mind. This means that anyone can learn meditation.
Life is a hectic rush, a mad whirlwind of competitions to capture, achieve, possess, an eternal burden of activities and tasks, ambitions and fears. Meditation is the complete opposite of all of this. It is a break in this “normal” life, a state free from all worries and anxieties.
FIRST: BRING YOUR MIND HOME
You have probably done a simple activity that completely freed you from thoughts. Such as: doing puzzles, cleaning. It was a moment when you were completely focused and your mind was simply relaxed. Do you know that this is the first step towards practicing meditation? You need to calm down your mind, release it and bring it home.
SECOND: DISARM YOUR MIND
When you bring your mind home, you disarm negative emotions and accumulated aggression. You don’t do it by suppressing them, but by looking at them with acceptance and love, you just observe them. It can be compared to pouring a handful of sand on a flat surface, all the grains arrange themselves on it spontaneously. So let the thoughts and feelings naturally fall and dissolve like this sand in your mind.
THIRD: CREATE A TEMPLE WITHIN YOURSELF
You don’t need special external circumstances to meditate. You don’t have to go to the Tibetan mountains, light incense sticks or candles. If you create a temple within yourself, you will be able to meditate anywhere, even in chaos.
Imagine that you are a farmer who has returned from a long day in the field. You sit in your favorite chair in front of the fireplace. You worked all day, you did what you had to do. You don’t have to worry about anything anymore. You can just be. So enter your internal temple and just BE.
FOURTH: SIT LIKE YOU WERE A MOUNTAIN
When you sit ready to meditate, sit as if you were a mountain, immovable, with unshakable majesty. Only in such a position your internal energy can flow freely among your spine. By sitting like a mountain you can allow your mind to fly high.
Keep your back straight but relaxed. You can lean back in your favorite armchair so that your spine is straight.
Completing these 4 SIMPLE STEPS, meditation will happened right away and the technique will be secondary.
MEDITATION IS THE GREATEST GIFT
We spend a lot of money to escape from worries and burdens of everyday life such as: holidays, expensive clothes, cars. We can spend billions, but if we are disconnected from our true nature, we will never experience happiness.
Meanwhile, meditation is at your fingertips and for free. The gift of learning meditation is the greatest gift you can give yourself in this life. Only through meditation you will reach the most important destination – your true-self. When you find it, your life will be constant happiness and joy.
